This diary of visionary experiences in the bardo and the pure realms, written by Chagdud Rinpoche's mother, Dawa Drolma, was preserved by Rinpoche's sister, T'hrinlay Wangmo, in Tibet. When Rinpoche returned to Tibet in 1987, the first time in 28 years, she gave him the handwritten text.
Dawa Drolma's experiences made her a living example of the power and truth of the Tibetan Buddhist teachings about karma, death, and the realms beyond death.
